Abstract The purpose of this study is to eva‎luate an‎d selec‎t technology for the development of small industries: the case study is MDF factories. The method of this study is quantitative-qualitative an‎d is considered an applied research in nature. It examines an‎d studies the factors determining the choice of technology in these industries, considering the indicators extracted from the literature an‎d interviews with managers of small industries an‎d their analysis. Since the purpose of this study is to eva‎luate an‎d selec‎t technology for the development of small industries: the case study is MDF factories, the research conducted is also a descriptive-survey type of research. The statistical population in the Kiai section includes 5 managers of small industries in Tehran. In selec‎ting the statistical population to conduct interviews, the snowball method was used to determine the sample size, an‎d the samples were determined purposefully, an‎d interviews were conducted with them until saturation. In the quantitative section, the statistical population includes managers an‎d senior experts of small industries in Tehran an‎d the cities of Mazan‎daran an‎d Khuzestan provinces, which are about 400 people. Using the Cochran formula, the sample size was calculated an‎d 196 people were considered in this study. In the present study, information was collected using interviews an‎d questionnaires, an‎d the data was analyzed using SPSS23 software. The results of the study show that managerial factors, financial an‎d economic factors, an‎d structural factors have a significant impact on the eva‎luation an‎d selec‎tion of technology for the development of small industries.
