Acknowledgements My heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Abdollahzadeh who honored me to his supervision of this study, who was of abundant help and inspiration during the different stages of doing the research, and provided me with invaluable sources to complete the study. Equally, I would also like to express my gratitude to Dr. Vaezi, the honorable reader, who provided me with encouragement to proceed with the study. Moreover, I owe a great deal to Dr. Maftoon and Dr. Barzegar for their kind cooperation in all stages of this study; they spared no effort in encouraging me to conduct this study. In addition, I would like to thank my dear professors who led me through an enjoyable journey of language learning in my B.A. and M.A. program and contributed to the development of my academic and intellectual growth. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to them here. I also have so many friends to thank here. I had the honor to share the great days of my life with them and I am fortunate to have them on my side. They include my close friends: Mr. M. B. Khodabakhshi, V. Faraji, H. Khaki, and A. Rahimi. Also, I would like to express my gratitude and respect to my late friend Ms. M. Karimi, and also my dear friends Mr. S. Rezaei, Mr. A. Javadi, and Ms. M. Haddadi, for their kind assistance. Moreover, I gratefully acknowledge the supervisor and assistant of Kish Language Institute in Kashan, Mr. M. Barzkar and Mr. H. Mostofi, for letting me conduct the study in Kish Language Institute. Special thanks to my father, mother, brother and my only sister who always resisted saying: aren’t you done yet! But if they ask me now I could confidently say No, there is still a long way…!
