چكيده
Abstract
Cycloconverter is an AC/AC converter which generates ac voltage with
desired amplitude and frequency, usually using three phase voltages with
constant amplitude and frequency. Cycloconverter has an important role in
very high power applications.
In this thesis, firstly, different types of cycloconverter and its modulation
methods are studied and compared. Then, the most proper type of
cycloconverter and modulation method are chosen. The selected
cycloconverter and modulation method are simulated too. Finally, as the
main aim of this thesis, simulated cycloconverter is implemented
successfully. The implementation results are mentioned too.
